Second Babysitter

My daughter loves our Direct TV. She would watch it every second of every single day if I would let her. When she was really little, she would watch the channels for kids throughout the day. We would play with her too, but she spent so much time watching the movies on Disney and Nickelodeon.

Her favorite movie used to be 101 Dalmatians. She loved it so much we actually ended up buying the movie for her because she just wanted to watch it over and over again. Now our second daughter is going through the same phase with The Little Mermaid. She just loves it so much that as soon as it is over, she asks us to play it again. 

Sometimes my husband and I talk about how TV is a blessing and curse. The kids want to watch it so often, so it keeps them occupied, but we feel like eventually we will have to limit the amount of TV they watch so they will do their homework. They love it because of all the different shows and I love our Direct TV because it feels like a second babysitter sometimes.
